VR Kubb
Kubb is a Scandinavian lawn game where the objective is to knock down wooden blocks (kubbs) using wooden batons (pins). Sometimes called “Viking Chess”, it is best described as a combination of bowling and horseshoes. The game is a natural fit for VR: now you can play Kubb any time of the year, rain or shine, with friends from all over the world!
The “Garden Paintings” at the Villa ad Gallinas Albas outside of Rome were discovered in a subterranean room in the mid-19th century. The paintings are a stunning example of ‘Second Style’ wall painting, and depict a lush and thriving garden.
VR Archaeological Analysis Environment
Archaeology is a destructive process: in order to decipher the past, archaeologists must destroy the context and stratigraphy through excavation. Once an object or piece of architecture has been excavated, it is removed from its context - therefore meticulous documentation throughout the process is incredibly important.
